Women’s Ministries is designed to address the spiritual, emotional, physical, and social needs of women in the church. As a support system, the ministries will encourage women that are hurting, suffering from divorce, abuse, or loneliness. Women’s Ministries will also help to address topics and issues that affect women, first in the church and then the community. The needs of young women as they approach adulthood are included. Through addressing the needs of the adult and young women, they are encouraged to participate in the mission of the church.
Our Purpose is GROWTH:
G – Gathering Women
Hebrews 10:25 – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
R – Reaching Women for Christ
Romans 14: 19 – Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
O – Offering Acceptance
Ephesians 4: 32 – And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
W – Working Together
Ephesians 4:16 – From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
T – Teaching Biblical Truth
St. John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
H – Honoring God‘s Purpose for Life
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.
We are multifaceted and designed to:
1. Help women become true to themselves and to Christ.
2. Encourage and support women as they fill their various roles.
3. Reach out to the community.
4. Minister as needed to church members.
5. Offer opportunities for spiritual and relational growth.
